Corrina, The Aussie girl who fell in love with St-Antonin-Noble-Val

It could sound a bit weird having a Frenchie living in London, telling the story of an Aussie girl who decided to move to France with all her family. But that’s the intricacy of life somehow. Let me introduce you to Corrina and A Destination Personal branding photoshoot . Corrina had already visited quite a few places in France before settling down in St-Antonin-Noble-Val, in the Tarn-et-Garonne region in France. The town was on her wish list since seeing the movie Charlotte Gray; somehow, she never managed to end up there until she saw another film set in St Antonin, the 100-foot journey. It didn’t take long for Corrina to pack her bags and visit St Antonin in November 2014, just two weeks after seeing the film. She found a house and moved with her family from Australia in March 2015! It looks like a sudden decision, but Corrina explained that being of French heritage, she always had this project somewhere in the back of her mind but didn’t speak aloud about it, which may have come as a shock to her family and friends.

Is a gorgeous little town which looks as in the movie. The pathway where the Indian family from the 100-foot journey movie breaks down is there with the beautiful view over St Antonin. So when Corrina invited me over for her personal branding photoshoot in St Antonin, I didn’t hesitate twice. What a gorgeous setting for an on-location photo shoot. Being local, Corrina also had the right contacts to work with a great local makeup artist and found the perfect vintage car for the branding photo shoot. Paul, who provided us with the gorgeous Traction Avant Citroen, also had one of his cars on the set of the 100-foot movie with Helen Mirren driving it!

Let me tell you a bit more about Corrina. She’s a photographer specialising in private portraiture, personal branding and weddings where she lives in St Antonin, which is a big part of her branding. Her aim for the shoot was not only to feature the mood and vibe of this gorgeous town in her pictures but also images showing her warm personality, integrating the experience and fun that her clients will have to work with her.

The photo shoot was an opportunity to feature her inside her 400 years old house, in the middle of the village that was left empty for the last 30 years. She completely renovated it with hours and hours of TLC to create a beautiful home.
